I redesigned the packaging for OUAI’s Leave In Conditioner, a haircare product with a unique feature: although it is a hair treatment, it comes in a spray bottle. One of its biggest strengths is that it can be sprayed evenly throughout the hair with just one hand, making it very easy and convenient to use. However, I noticed a few issues with the current packaging. The spray direction is not immediately clear, and the bottle can accidentally spray inside a bag. Also, considering the price point, the current bottle design feels slightly less premium than the product itself. Through this redesign, I wanted to improve these functional issues while creating a package that better highlights the quality and appeal of the product.
